Issues in starting ITIM bus



 Issues in starting ITIM bus


When we try to start ITIM bus Messaging Engine, we would get an error saying, The messaging engine ITIM_APP_CLUSTER.000-itim_bus cannot be started as there is no runtime initialized for it yet.
To resolve this issue following steps have to be performed:
1. Ensure that the database is up and running (ISIMDB).
2. Open db2 control center, Do a right click on the Database, choose the option Query.
3. If it is a Single-server Environment. Following commands should be executed:
delete from ITIML000.SIB000;
delete from ITIML000.SIB001;
delete from ITIML000.SIB002;
delete from ITIML000.SIBCLASSMAP;
delete from ITIML000.SIBKEYS;
delete from ITIML000.SIBLISTING;
delete from ITIML000.SIBOWNER;
delete from ITIML000.SIBOWNERO;
delete from ITIML000.SIBXACTS;
commit; 

4. If it is a Clustered Environment. Following commands should be executed:

delete from ITIML000.SIB000;
delete from ITIML000.SIB001;
delete from ITIML000.SIB002;
delete from ITIML000.SIBCLASSMAP;
delete from ITIML000.SIBKEYS;
delete from ITIML000.SIBLISTING;
delete from ITIML000.SIBOWNER;
delete from ITIML000.SIBOWNERO;
delete from ITIML000.SIBXACTS;
delete from ITIML001.SIB000;
delete from ITIML001.SIB001;
delete from ITIML001.SIB002;
delete from ITIML001.SIBCLASSMAP;
delete from ITIML001.SIBKEYS;
delete from ITIML001.SIBLISTING;
delete from ITIML001.SIBOWNER;
delete from ITIML001.SIBOWNERO;
delete from ITIML001.SIBXACTS;
delete from ITIML002.SIB000;
delete from ITIML002.SIB001;
delete from ITIML002.SIB002;
delete from ITIML002.SIBCLASSMAP;
delete from ITIML002.SIBKEYS;
delete from ITIML002.SIBLISTING;

6.  Start the Websphere Application servers
